Which is a better degree in India, a B.Tech or an MBBS? || better Which is tough Btech or MBBS?
I would like to inform you that both the courses (Engineering & MBBS) have the same difficulty level.
MBBS Information:
For MBBS, there are both theoretical and practical focus towards the courses. Main preference is given to the practical knowledge as the students should have the exact knowledge. Plus, the MBBS is a 5 years long duration course. Though, if you graduate with a MBBS degree, you are likely to get a handsome package.
Btech Information:
Engineering now a days is the most pursued degree. Students generally opt for Engineering, which is of 4 years duration. Main focus is laid in theoretical knowledge and partly on the practical. Ususally, the students are asked to go for the internship in the related field during the summer vacations so that they have the industrial knowledge.
MBBS vs BTECH:
As a B.Tech graduate you become employer of MBBS graduates. All doctors working in private sector earns less than 1% of the Btech/MBA CEO. MBBS salary these days is same as that of call centre employees.
Don’t be misguided by the answers of immature people or young medical graduates on quora, they are here only to satisfy their ego. Most of the random quora writers aren't even qualified to comment on either of the degrees - B.Tech or MBBS yet they have dumped their illogical opinions here in the form of answers. Talk to any mature senior doctor in person and he will tell you that MBBS is a shoe as compared to B.Tech from IIT and NIT + 2 years of MBA from IIM post that.
